Don't get me wrong, I agree with your point that this must be considered and approached carefully, but it has to be able to go both ways.

"false accusation" must be equally tested on its own merit, regardless of the previous outcome.

I imagine that if the initial trial was inconclusive, which many are anyway, a counter trial could be filed. Then the accusation of a (cont)

We do, but no decent legal system would neccessitate either outcome like this. Evidence must be conclusive either way to convict.

there is a clear difference between boycotting a thing, i.e. not engaging with it, and going out of your way to dismantle it, though.

I don't personally think it's great to do, but if it's to be done, for the better or worse, at least do it properly and sustainably.

The greater evil is mass animal farming for dumping prices. Which also hurt the farmers. People need to be willing to pay for quality meat.

I must be the only vegan here who thinks this is great. Seriously, if people just bought from good, local sources, it would help immensely.

It not only looks like an ambitious GMod contraption, but works just as well, too.

I think the sentiment is more along the lines of "We're more similar than the outside would let us perceive." than "it's all equal inside"

I'm right handed and laughed. How does this actually help, I imagine I'd have to crook my head like an owl to see through that hole.

It's like a surreal mix between Jeremy Clarkson and Bob Ross...

Meat is only "affordable" due to terrible practises. If you buy proper meat (which you should) it will still cost you.

Jesus, am I glad to have gone into a profession where contact with customers is rare. I thought the retail stories were bad...

Not that I wouldn't be offended in OPs shoes, mind you.

I think offence is taken rather than given, but doubling down with that statement instead of apologizing or at least retracting is just rude

That's why I don't get the "holocaust denial" narrative. He didn't deny anything, just described it in the most hilariously incompetent way.

I mean, he obviously didn't deny the holocaust, but his phrasing was so terrible it's like he asked to be misrepresented in the media.

"technically correct", but not of the best kind in this case. His statements were still an incoherent trainwreck. He floundered badly there.

It does, but I think that's the outcome of their twarted rhetoric of "muh oppression", WHILE thinking it's for equality. Ideologues.

You don't need to defend them to acknowledge different versions of feminism. Sadly, they mostly think they act for "equality" aswell.

Yep, but they are wrong. Hence I disagree with the connection. The nuances of this is too complex to discuss in a commenct section though.

Tbf I don't know what side the restaurant is on. They might think it does invite someone and I just disagree with that.

I didn't even know what I was looking at and started smiling involuntarily. The perfect mix of adorable and oddly hilarious.
