according to the article dogs were already domesticated before this fox-grave. but I agree, it *could* have been the fox. ...but it wasn't.

sadly, you're not even in the ballpark. domestication is a process which changes an animal at the genetic level. tame is tame.
this was at a sanctuary. some sanctuaries allow visitors.... but very few sanctuaries or wolves allow visitors to give tummy rubs
