Im a big fan of the series. I've got a few signed copies of the books.
I needed to escape our world a lot this year. I imagine it will be that way for the next three years.

only other book of his ive read was the southern book club guide to slaying vampires. I enjoyed it but Final girl I thought was better. I will be reading more of his stuff next year.
I don't know. This book didnt have many human female characters so im not sure the oddities in them were because they were alien or not.
I've seen that around. Ill look into starting that sometime next year.
Most years I am over 50. last year was over 100. I do a mix of audio and normal books. This year was just me being inspired by a story about a guy read 3500 book in his life. Plus the world sucks and reading got me to forget that.
I have read it and enjoyed it. Thanks.
I saw his sword wielder series and want to get to that. Just need to find the time.

I enjoyed the commentary of it. His other book I read was the southern book club guide to slaying vampires was also pretty good. I am going to find more of his stuff to read.
A lot were audio books but not all. Also I am single, no kids, in my 40's. Library is cheaper than cable.

Yup and read the Ink and sigil spin off series too.
I've read them multiple times and am currently on small favors for reread to be ready for next book on 1/20/26
I don't know. I only bought the 9th book off audible.
It's a Joe Ambercrombie. its Dark gritty and exciting with complex world and characters who are more flaws than anything else. I loved it.
a book that doesnt have explicit romance scenes.
