I fee this, the Japanese volunteer were so nice when I was there!
I’m from Durango Colorado where there is a river literally through the town. And I got into plastic boating but slalom was my calling

I’m the beginning yes. But eventually you’ll get hang of it and learn to read the water better to not roll but it’s not a big deal if you do
Karaoker is that like singing karaoke while in a boat?Haha It’s such a fun sport I love doing it. It’s an amazing feeling being on the water

Also my coach is polish. And is brutal honest. So again you don’t know what your talking about
We train at USNWC in Charlotte where we hang the gate poles and practice dodging them. And years of practice
Ya it was so weird!!
The boat doesn’t make it a canoe or kayak. It’s how you sit in it and the paddle you use.

Get a confident kayak roll. Once you can roll in any situation you can run a lot of cool rivers

Honestly I was a bit of an underdog but I knew I could do top 10 so 7th good. But I was very close to medal. I messed up at the last gate
