Canadian here- The first snow fall people don't know how to drive. A week later they think they are in fast and furious.
It then becomes near impossible to get you kicked out as it all leads back to the discrimination they had about your animal.
So bring your dog in and get them to report it to the labour board and have them come in and see that the dog has caused no harm.
If you move in and sign that you agree to no dogs and bring a dog in they can do nothing and it is in your favor if they think they do.
They can only kick you out if the animal does damage to the apartment, is a threat to others in the area, or someone is very allergic.
It is discrimination against animals if they put that.
Advice for Canadians: If someone is renting a room or apartment and states it is no pet friendly then they are breaking the law.
And I am called weird for always having a bag of popcorn on me.. Like the ricky of the real world.
