It's completely irrelevant. The vast majority of mobile payments readers are used on iPads not iPhones.

Also I'm talking about trackpads, it was always the default for the Magic Mouse.
The hardware capability has been there since they removed the physical button, and I'm iirc it was a feature in the next version of OSX.

Every IT team I've ever talked to supporting a software company disagrees. When all your hardware runs *nix, your life is easier. /$0.02
