Not only that, but any rubber lines or hoses will still be worn and degraded. These cars are generally traps. They look amazing for their age, but after some light use start racking up issues and they become quickly not worth the high price you paid for them.
No you wouldn't be. But if you save that 5-6 bucks a day, and maybe looked over your other spending habitsand cut back on other frivolous spending, then put that money in a HYSE or SPY etf, you would be saving that money AND gaining 4-8% interest on it. The point of stopping small wasteful expenditures isnt becoming a millionaire, its realizing that all that money adds up. And once you have real savings you have financial security.
It will probably be in a landfill by the end of the year. I could see the use in this if you were a backpacker, and knew you were gonna have to travel over water miles into your trip. But you definitely shouldn't buy this to use in replacement of a tradition kayak or canoe.
I'm going kayaking, have fun.
bitch, especially young people, but the stats dont lie. Democrats fail to see that online engagement amounts to nothing come election day. You need to tell these people GO VOTE. POLLS MEAN NOTHING, GO VOTE.
No I read you just fine. People love to scroll thru their twitter feed and see a candidate is doing well and feel good about it, zombie like and heart shit and move on. And democrats think that's engagement. I had plenty of interaction with young people at work during the 2024 election talking about how Kamala was gonna win, but ended up not voting. They thought because she was up in the polls, it was in the bag. And I'm not a republican, I voted for Kamala, I'm just tired of listening to people
In the 2024 election, less than half of the 18-24 population voted. Almost 75% of the population 60+ voted. Just because you don't know them, doesn't mean they don't exist.
My point was, until Democrats figure out a way to get their base (which seems to be young voters) to actually get out on voting day and VOTE, and not just root from the sidelines and watch they polls like it a sports game score, yeah it is hopeless for Democrats and their policies.
Its something terminally online people say as if getting more likes, or retweets actually means anything at all. Its a way to validate their views or opinions instead to actually getting up and doing something to push their views or opinions.
I'm a millennial, but keep trying.
Armchair supporters. Same thing that happened to Kamala will happen to Zohran. They all love to sit and retweet and heart shit, but the moment they have to get up and go out to vote, they have more important things to do. Day after the loss they will all be on social media crying that there's never any change. Millennials and Gen Z dont seem to understand that real change requires effort and sacrifice.
I've seen this happen first hand. A manager where I work went thru a temp agency to hire a supervisor. The person showed up to their first day of work, only to find out the manager used a temp agency not approved by our corporate office. They were told they would have to go thru the hiring process again at another temp agency. Needless to say, they did not come work for our company...
Their "three day special operation" playbook did not have a defense section
The amusing thing is, it didn't work for Hitler and the blitz, why would Putin think this the tactic of targeting civilians would work for him. When the populous believes their very lives are at stake they tend to fight harder. Putin is showing he has zero care for Ukrainians, which just reinforces the belief that if they lose, their lives will be completely over.
Pretty sure shes hinting at some men lasting barely a minute in bed and how she understands it now, but yes, planking requires an ungodly amount of strength to do for even a small amount of time.
I keep getting a popup alerting me that adblockers are not "allowed" on youtube on my laptop, and video playback will be disabled after one video. Been going on for weeks, still waiting for them to actually grow a pair and do it.
They don't need a gofundme for the medical bills, they need a gofundme for a lawyer. The hospital chose to keep her on life support due to a state law, not due to the family wishes. Even the State AG clarified that removing her from life support was not itself and act of aborting the pregnancy and they still chose to for the family through this. There is no way they should have to cover that cost. They've already paid for it emotionally and mentally.
That's just how the tracks on these tanks were designed. You keep a massive 35ton tank working that no one makes parts for anymore, and see how much you car about squeaking tracks. They squeaked like that in WWII, so its accurate.
It was in fact a bit of cosplay. There were various portions of the parade showing or "honoring" various points in US military history. So there were men in revolutionary war garb, WWI and WWII uniforms and equipment.
The parade had several portions showing men in uniform and equipment from various point in history, from the revolutionary war to modern. Those tanks were most likely from a museum that keeps running armor or from someones personal collection. They take a lot of effort and love to keep working. Its honestly a bit sad to see everyone bashing them. I get the context though.
"As the parade kicked off, soldiers marched in uniforms that represented America's biggest armed conflicts from the Revolutionary War to the War on Terror."
People have a hard time grasping just how massive major cities are. Especially if they live in a rural setting or smaller town.
Man fuck these pallets, cheapest junk on earth. They barely make it to the racks without splitting and falling apart. More Chinesium junk.
Thats because american car companies have a nasty habit of torching their car reputations on cost cutting, then having to come up with a new car name every ten years. Fords trying to bring back nostalgic names, like the bronco and mustang, as a sort of trim line of cars, and hoping the classic names will have some meaning to them. Look at Toyota or Honda, they've had the same car names for decades.
At this point, "the economy" is just a phrase used for siphoning money from lower income people. The moment people stop spending as much money, its the consumers fault and problem. Its never the companies responsibility to adjust prices or products to consumers wants.
I was gonna say Cigars eventually go stale, then I got the joke.
Most serious market analysts have been saying for awhile, Teslas stock price has decoupled from Teslas actual business performance. All you have to do is look at the recent news that their profits dropped 71% in Q1 this year, that same week Elon announced he was returning to Tesla. And the stock rose. Any other brand and that stock would have been in a free fall after the news of 71% drop in profits. Its basically a meme stock at this point.
Most likely the data center lied about their water consumption. And the local municipality cannot keep up.
This is causing low water pressure in the system, which is really dangerous. Water pipes being left to open air can cause all sorts of problems, and pressure keeps organic matter and organism out of leaks.
Its not about how they get it, its about how much they are using. The corporation for the data center probably told the city/municipality how much water and waste water they were going to be producing/consuming, and the city looked at that and said yes we can accommodate that. And the data center is using way more than they claimed, and they city cant keep up with the consumption. They might have a contract with another city to use part of their system and cant breech that contract.
