You are right. It's easy to judge from my office chair. But unfortunately as a European you have to watch so many boats sink in the Mediterranean sea that your view becomes a bit too cynical - my view. Italy is refusing support based on regulations while people are dying. That's incomprehensible to me.
Just last week 500 people died while the Greece coast guard was watching. The picture above is in reference to that and the direct comparison is valid.
