About the same as a crt tv. These are usually made with flyback transformers and have low amps but crazy high voltage to make the air gap jump.

I hated this part so much. Most implants are not magnetic and you can't tell how hot they are just by looking at it. Sifting through hot ashes for scalding pieces of metal. Then we got a fancy grinder that separated everything for us.
