Oh I agree. But thems the rules. Even if next shot hits pole n your ball drops into cup. Originally came to rest on the pole not the cup.
According to ball golf rules, a ball on top of the flag pole or stuck between the flag stick doesn't count.

Got to go tandem in high school for my senior project. Jumped off Mt. Tamalpais and landed on Stinson Beach. Was amazing yet terrifying.
Nor Cal. Very light polluted area but got lucky. We've been cloudy lately too but with highs over 105° F
