I think scarier if when you look, they stop moving fast enough you aren't quite sure whether you caught them moving or not - just a bare fraction of a second. like this, it's just an obviously animate being badly pretending they don't move.
is that really going to heal? seems like it should be stitched, or if that wouldn't work, properly amputated? just does not look sufficient ... but I know I'm a dumbass typing on the internet and they have actual experience, so likely I'm wrong.

It's a very public event in a public space in the age when everybody is carrying a camera. There are going to be thousands of pictures. I'm not saying you're wrong, but the reality is, if people need to not be identifiable, at this point it is on them to mask or somehow anonymize themselves.
