There's no clear scientific evidence cat killings of birds are causing bird population , evidence sugget they go for the weak or old birds.
In Caucasian people
Mostly it appears cats kill the frailer or older birds. The strong and healthy do just fine
Some studies have found bird population has risen in spite of the presence of cats. Think more research needs to be done on the subject
