I had to explain to a room of executives today how the price of the domestic steel we purchase will go up 20ish percent next year while they said "but the tariffs should make domestic prices go down right?" I was the second lowest earner in the room. The lowest earner was the only one that understood, even when showing them how domestic steel prices rose by 1% for every 1% tariff increase in 2018 when Trump last put tariffs in place.

Awesome. I've of my favorite characters ever. Love it when people cosplay characters from books. Did you have any specific reference materials?

I too enjoy being a parent, except when I have to clean the litter box. What? You mean human children? Ew.

You aren't alone. Tons of us have been having a very hard time getting meds with the shortage, plus it just being hard in general to get anything medically beneficial in the states if that's where you are located. I just went through the same thing and will probably go through it again in a week when I run out again. It's hard, but if you figure out what works for you, it can be manageable.

Yes, often times being task oriented helps me tremendously as well

Do physical tasks when you hit a wall in your head. Go for a walk or if there is something hands on you can help with do that. I also found that even 15 minutes of exercise or running before work helped. I will sometimes do push ups or squats in my office when I'm struggling. I'm overweight and have serious lung issues, so I'm not proposing anything most people couldn't do.

Communicate. This one is tricky depending on your work atmosphere. I couldn't get my meds for 3 weeks a couple months back. I let my team know. They told me that they could tell something was off, and if I hadn't said something, they would have assumed I was on drugs, since I suddenly had tons of energy and talked faster than I could think. I'm lucky in my work place that I can be open about this.

Earplugs or headphones. Keep from distractions. I play the same song on repeat throughout the day if I'm having a hard time concentrating. Take notes. Every meeting I am in I take extensive notes or I will stop paying attention.

To-do list. Think of something, add it to the list. Prioritize the list once daily in the morning. Concentrate on doing the top thing only. Alarms. Set reminders for everything so your brain doesn't have to actively think "is it lunch time now?" Don't skip meals on workdays. Make sure to drink enough water. Experiment with alternatives to meds. Caffeine can have a similar effect to me and some other adhders. there are some supplements you can find online, but they don't work for everyone.

I actually stayed at the overlook (Stanley hotel) a couple months ago. Ghosts were mostly friendly, just stay away from the cellar after dark if you are a natural red head. Ghost bro down there is a creeper

I was always told making someone salary for the intent to pay them less is illegal in most states. To the point that at my last job all my salaried employees had to be managers and I had to explain why they were salary to corporate so they would have me to blame if they got in trouble or got sued. You should look into your local and state laws to see if you have a basis for a lawsuit. Seriously. Don't let them get away with it just because you've gotten out of the situation.
