It is only hinted at a few times, and that he makes being a "genius" an excuse. "Wubba lubba dub dub", remember that translation?
That's because those people don't pay enough attention to the show and how he's a flawed character whose been hurt and that's his defense.

Don't trust your government, trust the non-commercial independent organisations intended to monitor them. And make sure they aren't defunded
Red Cross. They seem to be pretty non-partisan and are always in the places that need it most.
