As a counselor I disagree, I start a new job on Monday because of abusive leadership. What good am I if I don't take the advice I give.
2/2 I can notice a lot more at the same time, but if I don't write my notes down right away I forget important details.
It's kinda mixed bag, and really depends on the severity. I have moderate ADHD and I find that it helps me to be a better therapist because

I don't feel that way but I think the best relationships have both people think that, and I already do.
My SO says that they feel there is no way that I could ever be repaid, (contd)
I generally rather like him, but as I told him I really don't know anything about him, just that he is generally kind.
