Hold Washington's beer. They just added a carbon fee of $0.62/gal on top of existing taxes. It's now $1.18/gal in taxes and fees.
ick
Unless you're going for some Cheesecake Factory sort of concoction most cocktails should be pretty hard to fuck up, but I mostly stick to mixed drinks (one and) or cocktails like a negroni or manhattan.
And so young. Why God!?
That's too much ketchup
You're not wrong
I worked nights at a gym when I was a teenager. People used to complain about the antique dong show all the time. Like I, a 18 year old getting paid $7/hr was gonna go pick a fight with Rip Van Dangle in the locker room for them.
Hugely underrated movie.

#20 Sending all my love to Nana. My good boy had to have both his eyes out when he was a senior as well. Had to do the heart check ahead of time and all that. The good news is it alleviated so much discomfort, as soon as he was off the surgery meds he seemed 5 years younger. So much happier and full of energy. We had to put pool noodles on all the furniture legs and wall corners to keep him from bouncing off them.
Not in the same stall usually
#4 can someone explain the towel thing to me? I just wash my sheets frequently. Fucking on a towel seems restrictive and very not luxurious.
I'm pretty sure most of these are concept art or part of a design competition.
Or some people have what they need so money is meaningless.
I'm happy to hear that. It's insane that you can't buy cars direct but dealers can do whatever they want. Good on Ford!
Just taking my current car as an example. I bought it 4yrs old for 20k. New it was 42k. I've had it 6yrs. So that is $3,300/yr. If I'd bought it new I'd have had it for 10yrs now. So thats $4,200/yr. I've not had to do any maintenance besides preventative, so same in either case. How is that not cheaper?
That's pretty great. I'm glad you got a good deal. I'm just curious how much you think it will be worth in 3 years, and if you think it will no longer be reliable at that time.
How is insurance, tax and maintenance more on a car that costs less? I'm genuinely confused, please help me understand.
There seems to be a belief that a car becomes a time bomb after 3 years or something. Do you all buy a brand new car every 3 years? I keep mine until they have about 80k miles and trade them in.
Sorry I'm not sure what you mean. If my insurance you mean warranty, a car with 30k miles still has a warranty. I don't know how it's a better deal to pay tens of thousands more for a car that's in almost exactly the same shape though. I'm honestly blown away how many people think it a great deal to absorb the largest decrease in the value of a car it will ever experience with almost zero benefit to that.
You're probably right. Although I've never found it to be lacking. The trick is to be able/willing to be picky. Research and know what you want. Too many people just wander from lot to lot browsing and waiting for a salesman to tell them what they want, or only buy a replacement car when it can't wait.
I thought it was supposed to be because nitrogen is lighter than oxygen. Still snake oil tho.
Being angry and calling everyone you disagree with a boomer won't change the fact that 5 minutes on Google proves you wrong. Sorry about your ego there slugger.
Certified Pre-owned is an extended warranty you pay for. You can opt to not have it, especially on a car that is already under warranty. I'm looking at CarGurus right now and most 2019 cars are about 2/3 the MSRP of that exact car new. I'm sorry I don't believe you over what I'm looking at right now with my own eyes.
If you are buying a new car you aren't shopping smart.
Certified pre-owned is a scam. Don't do that. As for the rest of it. 90-95% the cost is just ludicrous and 5 minutes on any car site will verify that isn't true. New cars are marked up right now as well. If you are financing you definitely can't afford a new car, unless you get 0% APR, then sure, use the free loan.
Maybe it's a regional thing but this is completely untrue where I live.
At 30k miles you still have a warranty. And the knowing what happened to it bit would be the full dealership maintained service records, which is why I like to buy them off lease. Also leasers typically treat the cars very well as they will be monetarily penalized for any excessive wear. Buying a higher quality car for half the price also negates any risk.
