Oh, it definitely is, and the therapist she has has been trying to address that with her. Problem is, she treats everything like a joke (classic avoidance, yes yes) and refuses to take things seriously or even acknowledge she has a problem at all. After all, she has the rest of her life figured out, so why worry about anything?
I do plan on adopting her and I will support her, but she refuses to acknowledge reality because "that's scary and I don't want to". Kid, pretty much all of adulthood is learning to do the things we don't want to.She thinks she'll be fine homeless (she's never slept on the street, got picked up by the system pretty much immediately) or that I'm going to finance her entire life and she can just play video games in her room until the car comes.No plans, no aspirations, doesn't want to change.
I'm the foster parent of a 16 year old right now and let me tell you it's an uphill battle the whole way. She's had a "premonition" that she's going to be hit by a car in her early 20's and therefore there's no point in preparing for adulthood or learning any life skills at all. She's barely passing half her classes (failing the rest), doesn't want to learn to drive, manage money, or how to clean anything (she's comfortable wading ankle deep in trash in her room.) Therapy hasn't helped yet.
Less need, more expected to. There's a big push in the industry to never reinvent the wheel.
I'm trans and so is my teenage daughter. My parents think I'm being absurd for not wanting to come visit them them in Texas.

That same anime later goes on to say that people with cross-gender avatars who don't get it remodeled start to identify with that gender over time, which if that was how it worked, we wouldn't have trans people. So bit hit and miss.
Editing photos always weirds me out. Like, 10 years from now you're not going to remember the exact details, and the only record has been altered. It'll basically be giving you false memories. Very tiny dystopian vibes.
Remember, you can't brake while the bike is in a lean, or you'll low side it and spend years in physical therapy to only get some of your mobility back. Stay safe, invest in palm sliders so you don't fracture your wrists, and you can believe road rash loves finding gaps in your gear.
