I live in Minnesota and I drive big piles of metal that haul big piles of garbage. I'm definitely not your stereotypical garbage man though.

As someone who drives a truck equipped with hydraulic equipment 40-60hrs/wk, yes. 100 times yes. It happens, and it sucks, and can be awful.
