Call your representatives. Run for office. Participate in BDS. Donate to proponents of a 2 state solution.

But abdicating our right to vote, the right to representation and self-determination that we want for the Palestinians, is a meaningless, counterproductive action that does is MORE likely to harm the Palestinians AND people living in America.

I could not be more upset with the current administration's actions and the likelihood that our next administration, whoever is elected, will also be unlikely or unable to stop the genocide. But letting people die in america because im distraught about Israel's actions in palestine is unacceptable to me

Poor and old people dying in florida isnt going to topple an empire mate. Being vindictive towards victims of capitalism doesnt make you a communist

Classically a philosophy about abandoning people in your community in their time of need /s

They won't know WHY you didn't vote. Not voting and thinking its going to change the democratic party more than, say, caucusing or calling your congresspeople or running for office is a form of mental gymnastics which allows you to reframe inaction as action. Its a result of a very successful campaign by conservatives to erode our faith in our ability to influence our countries trajectory. I get it, I understand why you might feel that way... But do not mistake your abstention for activism here

Here's a link for good, accessible info from professionals:
https://www.aad.org/public/diseases/skin-cancer/find/at-risk/abcdes

Dont just take our word for it. And if you have fair skin and a bunch of sunspots, an annual skin exam by a derm is probably a good idea if affordable/accessible regardless of your own assessment based on the above info.

The question was who in this car will trump ATTEMPT to deport. You read the question which of them will BE deported under trump because theyre here illegally and for some reason arent being deported now. Its a silly way to read the question and the faux outrage youve conjured is misdirected

Right... Because Republicans aren't trying to deport white people, they're trying to terrorize communities that look like the people in the car. Im guessing it was a commentary on how they are more likely to be targetted by the people theyre supporting, not an assumption that they broke immigration law and could be subject to deportation.

Are you assuming immigrants arent Americans just because theyre immigrants? Seriously?

Same. Their whole thing is convenience/ease of use... Take away that by adding ads and you're left with a shitty company lol it was the straw that broke this camel's back

You mean the tyres that are designed to disintegrate in order to force a pit stop?

Thank you! When its as a percent like this, makes me wonder if lower percent could just mean being sacrificed for cost of healthcare or rent or if it truly means people are accessing food at a lower cost

How do they define disposable income? Ive always thought of it as money after necessities are paid for, and food is a necessity.

A very good question and one that I think is grappled with throughout journalism/scientific writing etc. Do you really think this IS common knowledge, or do you think this SHOULD BE common knowledge? Americans at least dont read at a very high level, and their news intake is often quite low so dont equate articles/search results to common knowledge. Not saying thats why the person asked the question, just my 2 cents

Claims should have sources - it makes sense not to put it on the sign, but if OP amplifies the sign they should be prepared to support its claim. If you ever saw a paper with a bibliography that just read 'google it' you would immediately know that paper to be bogus, not a statement on the impotence of boomers/conservatives

Depo shot needs to be injected every 3 months... If you have to reschedule it can lapse, just like missing a pill. Im not certain but my guess is that since unlike the hormonal IUDs, copper IUDs can also be used as emergency contraception (placed after sex to try to prevent pregnancy) it can have two different efficacies - one where its implanted before sex and one after
