I told him I won't abandon them, they have done nothing wrong. Plus they mean so much to me.

Yes, I also work in a shelter so we do foster but some are my own. We just adopted a bird "he" wanted and now doesn't want.
He wont really explain why. Just says he doesn't love animals like I do and his happiness matters too.
Not allergic, just decided he doesn't want animals in the house anymore.

Yet the only dog in the shelter that has made me go "whoa nope" was a husky. I don't know his story but he wasn't up for cuddles.
Any dog can be scary. The shelter I work at we adopt out tons of pit bulls kind loving ones with a bad name because of bad people. (1/2)

Unrelated but what a weird placement for a floor vent.
I work at a shelter, seen a lot of sad and frustrating things, also a lot of happiness and joy from adopters. Pay is small but worth it.

That tail isn't telling them he means no harm. Its saying i'm uncomfortable. I do dog intros at my work I see many dogs snap after this.
Actually his tail is moving rapidly back and forth, a calm dogs tail will move at a steady pace. This dog is very stressed out.
I have a older brother with Spina Bifida, never have I seen a cat with it or did I know that was even possible. You go little kitty!
Is it just me that noticed that both cats are calico (ones a dilute) meaning they are both females?

The only thing i'd like to say is please do not buy pets as gifts. I work in an animal shelter and so many people return the animals later.
