I just hoped that I would've done this sooner and defended my fking invalid mom who can't defend herself... Still feel bad about this. But my dad died like 8 years ago, and haven't visited his grave not once. He doesn't deserve it, even he was good/okay with us sons.
I've never been fan on violence, but i can so remember my childhood with same kind of behaviour. He also drank, when mom ws on vacation etc for a few days. Didn't have guts to do it anymore in fron of her, because she would leave her. And he was fking nighmare when drunk. Then, when I was older and stronger he started to curse my mom and there was some fysical threats. I stood up to him, and said "No, it you who's gonna get that if you continue with that bullshit". He went silent and stopped.
Yep! And these two have so different personalities too.
