I don’t know what it’s going to take. I guess they’ll have to tax our tea. All the bs is happening on high. On the ground, we’re still treating each other with respect and caring.
I can easily envision being homeless in three months. I cannot envision becoming a millionaire in three months.
It will be 8.5 more years to be as old as my father was when he passed. I have been a father for longer than he was alive as my father. Life provides many confusions.

Not what I’m saying, I’m saying I’ve done it the one way, I’m choosing to do it the other way. I am privileged to get to do so. I was privileged to get to keep my older kids in daycare. It’s a paradox. The whole system is awful and I don’t know why we aren’t eating the rich.
I’m choosing to stay home for the rest of the year to be with my newborn. I had 2 kids in my first marriage who only think of daycare as the cause of their problems. COVID has changed my mind about the value I bring in via work and the value of staying at home. New spouse and I have one child born just before COVID. We got to stay home all that time. Plus, I’d rather not have work scheduled only to cancel work because my kid is sick from daycare and therefore can’t go to daycare.
It didn’t feel like a cliffhanger. It felt like a cop out. I would have been good if the last (chapter? few paragraphs?) were left out.
Is it just me or did “his” last book fail to hit the landing?
I want a chairdog so freakin’ bad!
