What I didn't know was that they had swapped clothes with their friends so when the cops asked me to sit in their car to positively identify them I didn't know I was pointing out guys that had alibis for the time of the assault, the real perpetrators were never caught because of it. Kinda have to give props to the guys for being pretty damn smart to be honest. 2/2

Yeah, I've been a witness to a few crimes and the perpetrator of a couple others (just some dumb petty crime back before I got sober) so I've seen the process from both sides of the table so to say. The thing that drove home for me how ridiculously unreliable eyewitness accounts can be was a case where some friends of mine and I were jumped by a group of guys while we were drinking in a park, we were able to describe only the clothes of the guys properly since it was dark and the cops caught 1/

The important part is to have the witness then look at a lineup or photos of the possible suspects, and to get as much other evidence as possible since witness recollections aren't actually all that reliable (there are lots of studies on the reliability of eyewitness accounts and they all say eyewitness accounts can be horribly unreliable)

I've met plenty of absolute idiots who know how to make a lot of money, often (like Logan) in various immoral ways not caring about the possible harm they cause or people they exploit. Logan has from basically the very beginning of his career exploited children and young people for money, often in ways that while not overtly harmful still far from having a positive impact on his audience... And since his crypto BS he has very clearly and transparently exploited his audience monetarily.

As someone who fairly recently had a catheter after a kidney stone operation that was my first thought... The amount of ripping and tearing that must have caused to whomever this happened to... Especially if it was a man (longer urethra + prostate = a lot more damage and bleeding for sure). I mean removing the catheter even normally isn't exactly pleasant, I don't even want to imagine how much that must have hurt.
