I've read it one or two times but listened to the audio books a dozen or so times. Still gives me chills in places. Damn awesome.
There really was nothing else to do but wait. It's not like you can go around it, there was no other crossing within 100km+. So, you wait.
and so it wasn't uncommon for people to sit around and chat and share a snack/drink while waiting. I always took a book and music. ... ->
When I lived in the Pilbara region in Australia I hated getting stuck waiting for the train. I'd sometimes wait up to 2 or so hours ... ->
The drill to replace the window winder handle? That is indeed brilliant. It'll also save you taking 20 minutes to wind up an old window.
After reading these strips I'm getting the Injustice series now. Looking forward to reading through it all.

Back when I had my 3GS I would have it in my pocket at work, where it got damaged. Bezel and screen were coming off. They replaced it, 1/2

I call it Perth when referring to the overall metro area. But I'll use Perth City when referring to the CBD. I'm on the road lots.
Haha, so very true. And on top of that, most of our major infrastructure shuts down or breaks. Roads, phones, internet, even FM radio.
There's enough desert here in West Aus (well, all of Aus) already. Don't want to make the remaining green patches into desert as well ...

Definitely. The time it'll take me to save the money for it gives me time to learn at least basic travel Japanese, haha.
Japan is where I'd love to go for my first overseas trip. Just need to get a passport and save enough money for all the things I'd spend on.
As an Australian, this amazes me. I can't tell you how many times my bus or train simply didn't show up. I've missed job interviews and all.
OK. Now I just need to wait for them to come over to Perth. Or someone send me some, with Krispy Kreme. Fuck yeah.
