I mean some possibly used Spain or Latin America to escape, Ante Pavelic died in Spain of old age or some organ failing (if I remember correctly)

Yeah I do it with anything that could be kinda controversial, but with n@z! Germany colorisations I also add a warning in the title, with this I mostly do it because I am unsure how people feel. But it is a nice piece of text before the comment section, giving a moment to think before commenting I guess.

Nah the French were probably hit the hardest during the war together with Russians, Romanians, Serbs and Belgians especially on terrain loss. But somehow the French had forces on almost every front

Very glad you like it, I was asked to redo it by a friend, as he was annoyed by me being wrong about the color of the jackets worn by the two soldiers closest to the camera, as they wear m1941 jackets instead of HBT uniforms like i first thought.

Yeah, dark backgrounds are hard to fill in correctly. So that makes it look odd

you are indeed correct, there isnt much information about the original picture, but it seems to be propaganda or maybe a demonstration (possibly both).

If I am correct, the Baltic states still us the MG3 or a variant as well as Denmark I believe.

My god you need to see the Instagram page whenever I post something for the #yiww2 series, it almost looks like the 90s, with Serbs attacking Croats and Bosnians, Croats attacking Serbs, "historians" attacking "historians"

Recon in that era meant a observer with a radio and binos in/on: a plane, car, horse, (motor)bike, foot, a trench telling for example artillery officers were to shoot and if they are hitting something, or drawing on a map where troops are seen.

I can totally get that, I had a great grandfather who did resistance work, but he never mentioned much about it, he didnt like to talk about the war, which makes sense but it does make you wonder.

I do like the colors in the M41 jacket, but I see that a chinstrap was added, as well as the odd colors on the Overcoat.

Thanks, no that book doesn't ring a bell, who is the author?

Normally you can tell quite easily, especially when creators say they use Photoshop or don't want to say what program they use. I personally use GIMP a free and open source Image editing software (compatible with Linux, MacOs and Windows).

Glad to read you enjoy my posts, I have seen colorizers using AI, even Adobe Photoshop now has "Neural Filters" which also use AI to Sharpen, Colorize etc. and since I am Linux user, I found the Photo editing program GIMP to be easiest also it is without any AI (for as far as I know)

I dont see finger on triggers, and I think that the guy with the Thompson is maybe standing a bit in front (hard to say), but trigger discipline only became a thing since the 1970s

The latter that is something we see everywhere, especially political tribalism has become very obvious.

I fully agree with you, it is quite weird how we as a species operate, going as far as commiting generational suicide in not just one but two world wars.

They were fighting against British and Canadian troops, who for as far as I know still had a score to settle after the Dieppe Raid
