Sometimes I'm naughty, sometimes I'm nice, but seldom my words go amiss. If you are offended, that's just what's intended; I'm mostly just taking the piss.

Is the slider the light part or the dark part? Who knows? Certainly not me who would misclick on every fucking first try.

Keyboard on the short side was a dealbreaker for me - Nokia N900 and E7 was where it was at for me. I'm sure BBs were great for people with smaller hands than mine.

Japanese still has tones though, but no stress, as you say.

Fair enough, but this is in a gym, not on a hilltop outside; you work out until you are soaked, then go shower and dry off.

For a median salary of €52000 (estimate according to the internet) that works out to 32,5% effective tax rate; not taking into account any deductibles.

#5 The Palantir were never evil in themselves. They were made by elves and gifted to the Númeorians. After the fall of Númenor, they were taken to Middle Earth and used to guard Arnor and Gondor, but eventually most were lost or taken. Evidently both Sauron and Saruman got hold one each, but they could not make such things on their own.
It's like someone stealing your webcam and using it to scam people or w.e.; it doesn't make the webcam evil.

Happily playing in 4K on a mid range card, but I don't care for AAA games and mostly play games from 5+ years ago, so I usually max out my 120Hz monitor. My backlog will outlast their greed.

Well, that's a problem on their part, not on mine.

For an LLM there is no such things as lies or truths — it's all probabilities, and people would do well to keep that in mind when interacting with them.

What's with the paintball guns? Some kind of we-have-less-lethal-weapons-at-home kind of thing, or do they tag people who run away?

Work wise the issue is that it devalues the work of people trying to *start* a career in arts/illustration. There's something uncanny with generated illustrations, but somehow many people don't notice and just think it's "free".

"Because even in darkness, John has found light." - seems a bit mocking to say about a blind person? Whereas "In the absence of eyes, John has embraced darkness." would have been 100% metal.

It's the "sauerkraut" spice. It grows wild in Europe and nearby regions. It's not indigenous to the Americas, and I guess settlers didn't bring it along as it's a borderline weed here; and therefore y'all are wondering wtf it is.
