You should only deal with the seller, as they are the company you paid to deliver it.
The seller can claim from the carrier that they paid, the rest are subcontractors that will claim from each other down the chain.
Is the lid pulled into place or is it only there due to the elastic hinge nature of the fold? Seems like it would loose elasticity over time
