A crying emoji? What a complete moron. Marketing guys would sacrifice their firstborn child for a 12% conversion rate, that's an insane rate.

And they're masked, so we can't even know if this is true. They could be out there jackbooting and no-one would know unless their masks are removed

"Consistent and serious purges and purity tests" is how you get airbrushed out of pictures. It's never the good people starting purges, and always the bad ones who somehow come out on top

Bonus isn't paid till you've worked there for five years. But knowing that would require them being able to read, so I don't have high hopes

I don't know how much an educational gap will matter here. Tech is a big advantage, though less so versus NATO forces. The US' biggest advantage here is sheer volume. Take aircraft, for example. The US has a ton. As in, if the branches are taken separately, the US holds first, second, and fifth place in aircraft totals (air force, navy, marines, IIRC). And the margins are *big*. The public wouldn't like it, but I suspect the US could eat 3-1 losses against the rest of NATO and still win.

I feel like all of these interviews should be prefaced with asking them who they voted for. I've see far too many pity parties from leopard voters who got their faces eaten

There is an argument that can be made that sentencing someone very old and unhealthy does not meaningfully punish them, but instead creates a large drain on prison healthcare resources. I don't think I agree with that, but that is usually the argument made
