Well, and did you vote for Kamala Harris? Do you see where it has taken us?
(Yes, I'm being sarcastic.)

They did something similar with money from Switzerland ( s-swiss-payment-freeze-for-patriot-air-defence-system/91163617">https://www.swissinfo.ch/eng/foreign-affairs/us-circumvents-swiss-payment-freeze-for-patriot-air-defence-system/91163617 ), and that's on top of the price increase they did for the F-35A ( https://www.news.admin.ch/en/newnsb/RDltqKeOFRJxTHJqFQPcB )...
At this point I seriously doubt that we will see ANY weapon from the USA reach us, the Ukraine or any place they were designed to go to, really.

I mean, it DOES look a bit like an egg... and humans make for a good fertilizer... so, very understandable.

Congratulation to your sister and the medical staff treating her, what an absolute amazing milestone to reach!

#7 I love the little bit of velcro on it's side to fixate it in place instead of letting it float around the station most of the time.

Now THAT sounds like a good reason. At least until they come up with the next distraction.

Oh, these puppy eyes! Still, I wouldn't pet it, but it looks sooo sweet!

Hahaha, sorry for having you concerned.
Yeah, no, I don't even want to imagine having them in me... at that size and with these edges, no thanks. xD

Sorry for the double comment, but that mod is just such a gem. From the mod description:
"Alongside your usual ores, you'll be mining Bullshit Ore — a naturally occurring deposit of pure, unrefined nonsense — and Redundant Rubble, the mineralized waste of excessive procedural oversight.
These feed into a whole parallel economy of excuses, justifications, narratives, and eventually, policy.
You'll also need Politician Fluid, distilled into Lies and Misinformation at the Propaganda Distillery."

Someone over on Youtube put the entire game "Factorio" onto floppy disks (DocJade; https://youtu.be/cTPBGZcTRqo ).
Given that the base game is around 2 GB of data and they managed to fit it onto ~1000 floppy discs, 45686 discs seems like a suspicously high amount for ~20-25 GB that (uncompressed) Windows 11 occupies.

Had to boot up XP in a virtual machine to check, yeah, I misremembered.
That's indeed the Windows XP scrollbar.

I might misremember, but I think 2001 is wrong. I'm quite sure that's the bar that came with Windows Vista, and XP (released in 2001) used the one from 1998...

... And then there's me, who trips over the top step of my basement staircase ALMOST every time because it's slightly higher than all the other ones.

Wonderful, and I love the details with what's going on with the background characters as well!
Also, thank you very much for including the original author!

Wouldn't a backflip cause all the oil to drip out? Or do you plan to do it quick enough so the centrifugal force would keep it in the boat?

I was just about to comment that "having racists working a security job where racial profiling is alread an issue isn't a good idea", but your example already perfectly outlines even bigger issues with that.

It must be really nice when your hairdresser also pierces your ears and lasers your eyes...

As much as I appreciate your help in making sure that my comment is seen as the sarkasm it's meant to be, it concerns me that you felt the need to clarify my comment, but not your own...
Yours... is sarkasm too, right?

Don't underestimate the omnipotent powers of "sleepy Joe"...
If Donny can declassify documents by thinking about it (and we all know the level of thinking he's capable of), just imagine what power Biden must possess...

Bit oversized, don't you think?

Hm... I think the first one and a half sentences are true: "Lady said her breast aren't dead." is probably true, as well as "I'm not 100[...]" is also most likely correct.
