On top of that, latex is a lot of work in cleaning and storage too, can't leave your human oils on it or it can degrade the latex over time. Everythng has to be washed and dried well and stored with more lube on it. BUT DAMN DOES IT LOOK GOOD, its worth the effort
PVC has its limitations. Latex in this context is almost never matte like car tires tho, molded or poured latex is done into super smooth molds to give a glass like surface (fabric is made on glass sheets actually), it is often covered in a powder to stop rubber from sticking to itself, whcih makes it matte. Then you need a silicone lube to achieve the high gloss. It is SO MUCH more shiny than PVC in the end and feels SO MUCH more comfortable imo..and it stretches way more so TIGHTER <3
