Yep.
Are you all on vacation in Japan, or do you live there? If vacationing, how will you return these to your home country (assuming through an airport)?
Big oof, glad you are on recovering though! This thing is no joke.
My wife tested positive for covid last week. She had a really scary night where she was struggling to breathe. Thankfully, she is on the other end of it but now I'm starting to feel not so good...
Love going to my local cons, hope you have a good time!
Just came back from a company trip. So far, everyone is sick and there are many COVID positive folks. I'm not surprised, but it still sucks.
You are
I have a vacation to Mexico in 2 weeks and every day I'm worried I'm going to get COVID right before and have to miss it.
This reminds me of something a professor in college told our class once. "Everyone knows smoking cigarettes is bad for them. Millions still do it. And that is because it takes years, if ever, to kill someone from smoking. But if there was a known defect that 1 out of every 500 cigarettes contains a mini bomb that would kill you instantly once you lit it, everyone would stop smoking instantly. That is because people react to the instant, the dramatic, and not to the problems that may never be."
Miro has been my digital whiteboard and it is amazing! Highly recommended.
This. The beginning and the end is really hard to do. Start with what you want the story to be and come back to those later.
I started writing my first novel late last year. What I told myself when I started was that I was going to finish it. It didn't matter if it took 1 year or 10, if no one read it or 5 people did, if it was total crap or maybe kinda sorta okay - just saying I did it, that you had a goal and finished it, was enough for me. I have pages of outlines, sketches, started and stopped and I'm proud to say I've written... some of it. But some is better than none! You'll do great, just keep at it!
Had no idea this was him, wow! RIP

This all being said, I would love to have hair like this again. It is a constant point of insecurity. But life happens and I'd rather shave my head than be broke and "better" looking (in the eyes of certain people). PLUS if you have been balding for some time, it would be really hard to hide this from people. Maybe some people won't care but I'd imagine the feeling of people judging you would outweigh the benefits.
As someone who started to notice hair loss at a young age, I've considered these but never pulled the trigger. The money alone made it hard to do. They are so expensive and require a lot of upkeep. If you only had to do it once or even once every 6-12 months, maybe, but you must redo it nearly monthly. And I've been told it can be uncomfortable, kinda smelly, and works best if you are totally bald (since hair does not stop growing on the covered area). A hat is a much better option.
#4 I've been stuck on the same chapter for 3 months. The struggle is real!
Why did you need me for this?!
I didn't go well for the last throuple with Trapp...
Could not agree more! The hype for this game when I was much younger is a high I still have never come close to hitting.
Any advice for someone trying to write his first ever book?
I've restarted, stopped, and restarted a few times but am currently riding a high so fingers crossed we both can finish our books one day!
I'd love to hear about your experience sometime!
Life, am I rite?
I lost my mother for exactly everything you said. Ultimately, it was decided to allow her to rest. I'm sorry for what you are going thru.
I recently applied, interviewed, and was offered a job I applied for thinking I had no chance. I start tomorrow. Never know til you try!
Especially for furniture that gets alot of daily use. You are gonna spend a third of your life sleeping, might as well be comfortable.
Best advice I was given while house hunting this year - it only takes one. Same advice as dating and job hunting. Keep going til you win.
