I agree that pantyhose do make a good insulating base layer, that does not increase their comfort so my sympathy is with all who wear them for whatever reason.Having worn employer-required high heeled shoes and employer-required steel toed boots with 1.5” heels (different employers), I personally would take the boots over the heels any day of the week without hesitation or complaint.
I’m guessing you’ve never spent a nine-hour workday in pantyhose and heels?
Me too. My only salvation when I lose my phone is that iPhone’s Find My Phone feature overrides that and makes it make noise (and is about the only thing that still works in the old iPad I was gifted nearly 8 years ago).
