No, you're born with them. They're just made of cartilage when you're first born, but it's still there.
There's a way to fix this bug, look for it on the wiki. Basically, just mark it for deletion and it'll go away.

I was at an amusement park that had this ride, but they didn't properly inspect it. A kid got a huge cut from something on the slide. 1/2

Though you also have to keep in mind japenese took over a lot of china, so the stuff could have been manufactured by chinese and used by 1/2
Climbing to the cable car stop isn't even the worse. That's only 1/4 of the whole trail lol. There's 4 peaks, cable car only goes to one.
You could also just take the cable car and skip it. 2/2
Having climbed it also, it does not. If I'm thinking of the right part of the trail, its about 5-10 meters and then levels out. 1/2
