Charles I was imprisoned in Windsor Castle during the English Civil War. He was accused of and tried for treason for using his power for personal gain rather than the good of the country. 'The charge stated that he was devising "a wicked design to erect and uphold in himself an unlimited and tyrannical power to rule according to his will, and to overthrow the rights and liberties of the people"'(Wikipedia quote). He was executed by beheading with a single blow. Not sure if relevant...

I love it when Sci Fi writers don't just ignore relativity when they write about travelling fast around the galaxy. Like Dan Simmons has a great story about it in Hyperion.

Yeah these kits are midi controllers so you can record the midi hits and use them to trigger any drum samples you like. You can also edit the performance easily and quantize it to the grid if you want to become robotically tight. I always prefer an acoustic kit for sound and feel but they are quite hard to record well and you need a good performance because edits are much harder to do.

It might be an autocorrect thing but the fella in the trenchcoat was painted by Lucian Freud (his grandfather was Sigmund). Those Graham Crowley pictures are cool - I like his monochromatic paintings of Suffolk but I've never seen these interior scenes.
