Thank you for sharing. I truly mean that. This blindsided me hard. This used to be my bestfriend's favourite moment, that and Canyonero. He was able to recite it word for word with the voices. Next month it'll be a year since he passed. You allowed me to stop and think of him today, I appreciate that. Thank you.

My best friend passed on April 20th. I don't know you, or your friend, but if your love for them was the same as mine, I'm so...so sorry. I not doing particularly well, but from one human to another, never stop talking about it. It'll help you process it and remember the good times.

Know the feeling. I got sick and tired of it and dug out my contract. Suddenly saying "Oh, well, you see chief...you're asking me to work, on my non-working days. Days that haven't been agreed on in my contract. 'Fraid that's a no-no" didn't go down well. Another people should look out for is "notification period", usually phrased something like "Employee to receive notification ahead equal to time off" (I.e you take 3 days off, they must tell you about any change 72hours before).

Some things are inexcusable, but I'm a believer in you get one mistake, and one chance to make a sincere apology. Keep making the same mistakes? That's different. We learn together, we grow together. I've always been a believer that you get one mistake and one chance to make a sincere apology. Life rarely let's you grow without making mistakes, and you shouldn't beat people to death over them. I've worked with Miltary personnel in a professional capacity in the past. My favourite wind-up is asking "So, how many floors are on this boat?". The initial stink face I get is priceless xD
Hi wartickler, thanks for commenting. Sorry you feel that way. Imgur for me has always been a place for light escapism, to laugh and find a light place in a dark world. It's never my intention to alienate or victimise others and (if they haven't deleted the posts) it was pointed out to me that it could be taken that way. I'm the DM xD I feel most of these in my bones, if no-ones set up a DM's Anonymous (play on Alcoholics Anonymous), they need to. The time when the Goliath Barbarian fail a perception check on a mountain path, and causually backhanded the quest NPC off the cliff edge without noticing...
Because the full list is never spoken. Rules are randomly brought up and attributed a number in the episodes. Rules 1-16 have appeared more than once, so are more 'cemented into the lore... ...I think...

Any words I could try to find would seem hollow. She looked like a wonderful person to know. I lost my best friend a couple of weeks ago, make sure you have friends and family around you, they'll be there for you when you cant be strong. The best thing I can say is, live a minute at a time. Say to yourself "I can make it through this minute". Then when you manage a minute, an hour. Then a day. From one person hurting to another, you'll get there. Remember the good days.
