Damn right. Semi related, I paid in cash/check on the day for years, and they eventually sold me the house at a damn good price two years ago. The few times I was late, they understood.

I still find the odd beers and sandwiches/cookies at my door lol

I am so damn lucky, it's not even funny.

Probably more like corned beef. Mustard on corned beef is like crack.

I'm more whole grain but I won't yuck another person's yum.

Good first attempt, looks tasty! There are some tricks you can use if you want to elevate.

Think about:

Adding a little white wine and shrimp stock to the pan after melting your butter/olive oil, and reducing it by half before adding the shrimp

Getting unshelled shrimp, and using shells to make stock (boil shells in water with chicken and veggie boulion cubes)

If you make stock, you can get fresh angel hair pasta and boil it in the shrimp stock

This can bring another level of seafood flavor

Napoleon, Sharpe and Harper served together during the Peninsula Campaign in the Napoleonic wars, and they were reunited after the brief peace where Napoleon had been exiled. Harper returned to the service of the British army as an Irish gentleman selling horses, and only agreed to serve with sharp again until he saw Bonaparte.

It's a great series, it's very silly, a little childish, but also just pretty great. Whole lot of salt over the shoulder lol
