Perhaps it was just a Jolly Litwick, as someone else suggested. Jolly is one of the better natures for Chandelure competitively.
Perhaps she means she maxed out its friendship. Or affection. Those get confused for each other or "happiness" a lot.
Not to mention Hydreigon, Haxorus, Chandelure, Druddigon, Reuniclus, Excadrill, Ferrothorn, Genesect, and my personal favourite, Galvantula.
Might be a reference to Splatoon and Squidbagging. Not entirely sure though.

Well, the region (and thus most of the Pokémon) were based off of NYC...
It actually really popular, especially in Japan.

Many of the Pokémon added in Gen 6 were pretty much designed for competitive, such as Aegislash, Talonflame and the starters.
I think Trubbish is kinda cute...
Aegislash isn't part of the Swords of Justice. They are Cobalion, Terrakion & Virizion. Also Keldeo.
There's a reason it's playable in Pokken.
Tyranitar, Mewtwo Y, Gyarados, Generations Charizard & Alakazam can all theoretically achieve 300 Damage. (2)
Actually, both Charizards from Flashfire can do 300 Damage. Technically Kangaskhan, Gengar, Metagross, Gardevoir, Both Rayquaza, (1)
Megas have 200+ HP and most can deal 300+ damage, in what's essentially a single evolution stage.
They have some kek theme music. That is all I know/care about Touhou. Lemme know about other kek music I might not've heard from the series.

Exactly. Vespiquen is based on a queen bee, hence the "quen". It'd be cool if male Combee got some sort of drone bee evolution.
That makes sense biologically though. How many male bees are queen bees?
