I played this by myself and then watched my friend play it with her husband. I enjoyed them both for different reasons. Watching them fuck around and do dumb shit was great, but I also enjoyed playing it myself, and laughing about all the stupid things the NPC ends up doing.
I know some spells got changed to ending on a long rest instead of so many hours. And some don't require concentration anymore. I understand not everyone will care for those changes, but my DM enjoyed them so much that he plans on adding them to our game at some point.
