Any practical advice on processing/managing the grief that comes with the loss? Mine is also 14 and recently developed kidney issues. Nothing imminent but the end is certainly feeling closer than ever before. Never had anything more than pet fish until I got him at 19 and now he’s been with me my entire adult life. While, I regret absolutely nothing about adopting him…. I don’t recall anyone mentioning how devastating it would be facing the brutal reality that he will get old and frail and die!!
These photos are stunning and seems to beautifully capture Zig’s personality and the spirit of adventure you two shared!
