My man-sandals look nothing like that.

Never watched the show but don't you have to interact with the audience to break the 4th wall? This isn't really doing that.

Balloon string got caught in the propeller. People think this was intended when it was clearly an accident. You're not the stupid one here.

Custom table spotted at a local brewery. Might have intended it to be an aesthetic detail but it's cut and executed so poorly, I'm not sure.

Was not my intention, I posted it here so I could share it on a relevant subreddit where people understand these things. I'm sorry??

On one corner of this table only, there is no other joinery on the table, the legs are secured with a steel frame.

Correct, I was pointing out that it's the wrong direction. Also, very commonly used to secure large cracks.

Actually, the shape is intended to fasten 2 parts, creating a 2 sided wedge to pull each side to the center. Try google, it prevents dumb.

Right, and there's many other ways they could have secured this crack with far less effort and much better result.

The bowtie shape, not the insert. The bowtie shape specifically is doing nothing. It is a 100% wasted effort.

My thought process as well. Even just a simple spline joint would have been just as effective and a fraction of the time, also way cleaner.

It's the wrong direction, the bowtie shape is doing nothing to help secure this crack.
