I’d imagine “sickly-sweet” turned up to 11 🤢
And those were the lucky ones. Those more ill-fated found themselves half buried, cemented in place by the rapidly cooling sludge and left at the mercy of the elements.
That’s right! I had a vague recollection of it (an actually pretty horrific tragedy), but couldn’t remember the year for the life of me.
