Exactly! At least that's how I wrap my handles. It's really Personal Preference, so do what feels better in your hand.
Rotate your wrapping pattern 90° so that where your 2 ends of 550 meet is in the middle of the handle. Thicker grip that way.
Sum and Balance arent the same. Sum of each side is different but the balance after all subtractions is 0.
