This kind of thing might be useful for mountain build sites that don't have a road leading to them, and don't last long enough to make installing some kind of cable car thing or some other way to move things up and down in bulk to make sense. Say, repairs/refurbishing of a mountain park trail, or a cellular tower or weather station, things like that.
