The time it took to slide down doesn't make much sense with how fast it climbed back up. Also some of the tracks just suddenly pop in when it's running up
The bubblers reduce the density of the water which reduces the amount of water that you displace. This in turn reduces the amount you slow down per second reducing the amount of force you feel, but you will need a deeper pool and you need to be able to swim out of it since you're denser than water with bubbles.
