Not that it can't hear, the post truly does say that. But that it has no concept sound exists and that you can hear. It assumes nothing can hear. We can be deaf and understand that others can hear. It does not...

Wow that's very interesting. Being dogs don't have a frontal lobe for advanced reasoning one could assume that pup had no concept of hearing. I wouldn't have put thought to it without that!
