I don't think this actually happened but I'll let ya know how much tail my paddle ends up pulling at the rec center.
That said, if it's a pattern of ignoring you for days at a time, not showing up for plans, etc. You are probably being disrespected.
It was hard to learn you don't always need to communicate. I may not hear back, or it's a day without a text. People get busy.

I absolutely agree you made a very solid investment in this place, came out amazingly.
And while spending 500K on renovation is way out of the question, a great price on a building is right up my alley.
I feel like any property for this price I'd be crazy to not buy. I'm looking at my first house / project now that I have more free time. 1/2
How did you go about finding a place like this for a dollar? Dumb luck? Good timing? Know someone?
On the other hand, meeting the gal's fam is always pleasurable.
I did it on Christmas and everyone loved it!
For anyone interested, these massive claws weigh up to 7 pounds and are on sale at Costco for $9.99/lb.
It can go either way, I hate introducing gals to my parents because they are so awkward.
This so much, people look at me funny when I say I don't date around. I don't have the time, energy, or disposable income for multiple gals.
My favorite part of cooking is remembering how my parents used to do it.
I aim to please.
Only thing I would change is the type of flour I used; everything else was primo! It's super easy to make. King Arthur recipes are best.
In my opinion cast iron is the way to do it, Gram always cooked hers in a cast iron. Just need to butter the pan really well before.
I had a traumatic experience with Spam as a boy scout where it is all I was fed for 3 days. I won't go back.
It is like science too! Keeps me from getting in trouble & is fun to make new things. This was my first time making this cake.
Thank you! I only had whole wheat flour so it came out a little thick but otherwise tasty. Time to up my game and get cake flour next time.

Agreed, I should probably learn. It's been at least 10 years since I was forced to in HS.
