Thank you for pointing that out. I thought that was actually obvious and was being snarky. I think some ppl actually genuinely thought they were getting FULL access to those services after paying their ISP. Imagine paying your ISP for YouTube access and still watching 10-15 minutes of ads every hour and all the ad revenue goes to YouTube only.

as sad as that whole situation is I agree, it would only be closer to socialism with a large amount of government intervention and oversight beyond it just being basically a loan or handout that would imply some form of sake or public ownership... obviously that didn't happen as they sadly floundered.
