While completely true and correct, there is one additional factor to consider, which is radiant heat exchange with the outside. When it is hotter outside your house, there is a net positive energy exchange (mainly through your windows). When it's colder outside, there is a net negative energy exchange. The same temperature inside in these two situations "feels" different, because the amount of heat energy your body is gaining/losing really is different.

I've been to Cuba several times. Check out Cienfuegos and Vinales. Both are "better" than Havana, in their own way. Cienfuegos has better preserved architecture and a great night life. Vinales is the ultimate laid-back vacation.

You seem to be (intentionally) confusing the use of a normal rifle with a semi-automatic. While I can accept your explanation of the .22 as a (very) small game and precision shooting rifle, does either of these activities routinely use a semi-automatic weapon? I don't believe they do, but I would be happy to be corrected if in error. The proposed ban affects the semi-automatic variant, and does not remove .22 caliber from the market. It can still be used as it currently is.

I am not knowledgeable about guns, but I believe that a 22 caliber gun is not very useful for war. That said, I don't think it is useful for hunting either. It's only use AFAIK is to kill quickly at close range. So why do you need a semi-auto weapon? You don't. Give it up. Or explain why this should be a legal weapon on Canada. And naming calling Trudeau does nothing to support your argument.

Look into the apps FoodHero and Too Good To Go. Identifying and seeking at discount foods that are expiring. Bread not perfectly fresh? Make toast and grilled cheese sandwiches. Great deals on bread, meat, and fruit.

I don't know if you are doing the IV at home or not... If not, consider subQ fluids, which are administered just under the skin. It's total possible to do this at home - ask your vet for saline or lactated ringer, some 18 or 20 ga. butterfly needles, and a large syringe. It avoids so much stress on the cat to avoid vet visits. They can show you how to do it in a few minutes, and there is a ton of YouTube videos.

Have you tried any of the cremants? The ones from the Alsace ( spelling? ) are quite good. $20 Canadian gets you a very nice sparkling wine.

Absolutely nothing. The solution gets hot, but not enough to boil. Concentrated hydrochloric acid starts out as a 35-37 wt% solution, and does not have an excessive heat of solution due to additional dilution. Adding water to concentrated sulfuric acid is a different story - this is dangerous. It will boil and disperse nasty acidic droplets.

Neat! This reminds me of old school infra-red spectrum analysis, where sodium chloride salt crystal windows were used to hold a (very dry) liquid sample. The crystals were optically clear.

All you need are some springs, attached to the blade and the base. Raising the blade stretches the springs. Release blade, let springs do their thing.

See if any doctors in the area offer a "no needle, no scalpel" option. Local anesthetic through some sort of high pressure air "injection", and then a large bore cannula to access the vas. No sutures, just some glue. Very fast procedure, and you're go to go the next day.

I have an E-Go battery model. I live in Ottawa, Ontario, Canada. In about 5 years of use, it's never had a problem with the amount of snow we get here, which at times can be quite wet... Like today. It's slower than a gas powered model, but not that much. But not having to have a gas can around more than outweighs the speed. Standard 1 car wide by 2 cars long driveway. I also have an E-Go lawnmower.

Can someone please explain why turning off your phone is supposed to help? The cell towers broadcast the signal, so what's your phone have to do with this scenario? And yes, I realize the whole thing is stupid, and I may be searching for logic where none exists.

Thanks. Your response is what I learned a lifetime ago in chemistry. Fun fact: the advanced phys chem formula for pH is significantly longer. Think "can't fit in one line of notes longer".

the pump suction. This triggers whenever the pressure is "too high" - i.e. there is a danger of blowing a seal or a hose. Guaranteed that this has triggered when the tool head stalls. It may also open at other points, but not enough info to determine.

Most likely this is driven by a positive displacement gear pump. The volumetric flow rate depends on (1) the internal clearance of the pump which sets the flow per revolution; (2) number of rpm; and (3) the downstream pressure which determines the amount of fluid slip in the pump head. As the tool head encounters more resistance, the slip increases, the hydraulic fluid volume is reduced, and the tool head slow down. There is also a high pressure relief that routes oil from the discharge back to
