Yup, 6 years, Irish schools run 4-12 (primary school) and 12-18 (secondary school) so did Latin for all of secondary.
Latin sucks, source did it for 6 years.
In my school we did french German and Latin for 3 years… everyone. And then after you dropped 2 for the next 3 years, as well as Irish.
Come to ireland, we do Irish and English for 14 years, french/German/Spanish/Latin for 3-6 depending on what school you’re in.
