Replaying the Trilogy with my gf in anticipation; she hasn't seen them before so I get to vicariously enjoy her first time.
I enjoyed them, they reminded me of Doritos Burn; a flavor I had while on study abroad in Australia.

We have to remember that D&D is above all, a game. The point is to have fun, sure the guards go "Oh I guess the tree's always been here" 1/2
This is where The Rule of Cool comes into play. Sure a tree randomly being there doesnt make sense, but if the group is into it then its fun
Interesting, I tend to like Nat 1s being auto fails but 20s simply being a high roll, because you can always fail, but not always succeed
And that's where a good DM comes into play, I would never give a peasant a roll to punch through a castle; maybe one to not break their hand
I see no difference between a house rule and an optional rule, also no, I've never thought "Damn, a nat 1 why do I even bother with skills"
Its an optional rule, I've been in groups that have had 20s and 1s as auto successes and fails on everything.

DS 3 keeps crashing on my computer. Anyone know a fix?

In 3.5 and pathfinder all golems are immune to magic that allows for spell resistance to one extent or another
Isnt that generally implied? I should hope that if the occasion should arise and I ask for nudes people wont send me kids...
Or is it Solar Beam?
Totally read that as "Medication destroys my limbo" and was like 'yea, you keep that balance.' Might be high.
